So This Is Christmas

(by John Lennon)

So this is Christmas
And what have you done?
Another year over
And a new one just begun

And so this is Christmas
I hope you have fun
The near and the dear one
The old and the young.

A very Merry Christmas
And a Happy New Year
Let's hope it's a good one
Without any fear

And so this is Christmas
For weak and for strong
For rich and the poor ones
The road is so long

And so Happy Christmas
For black and for white
For yellow and red ones
Let's stop all the fight.

A very Merry Christmas
And a Happy New Year
Let's hope it's a good one
Without any fear

So this is Christmas
And what have you done?
Another year over
And a new one just begun

And so Happy Christmas
I hope you have fun
The near and the dear one
The old and the young.

A very Merry Christmas
And a Happy New Year
Let's hope it's a good one
Without any fear

War is over!
If you want it
War is over!
War is over, Now!

Facing the Music...

It's time to face the facts, people.

When you're in it, you only accept the evidence that aids your case, and cheerfully ignore the growing pile of stuff that points otherwise...

You'd need someone else to shine the light for you, to tell you to accept the things that you have been unconsciously denying...

It's tough to accept... People can go through their entire existence pretending, living in webs of deceit... I've decided that I shan't be one of them...

When the facts pile up once or twice, it's a coincidence... three or four, it's a suspicious... five or six, it's a undeniable, inalienable truth...

It's ok, if I can do a marathon, I can accept this painful truth. I can move on. New year's coming, perfect time for a fresh start, new beginnings...

I am a Food Reviewer!

Yesterday night had a wonderful evening out with a dear friend. The Belgian restaurant that we went to was called Oosters, and I liked it so much, I decided to review it! It's now available on HungryGoWhere! In fact, I'm the first reviewer of that particular restaurant, so I scored a "First"! Overall, scored it a 7.5! The link is here:

After reading the review, would YOU go there?

Hmmm, wonder if I can ever earn a living doing food reviews. It's certainly a dream career!
